John Piazza, B.A. LL.B

John Piazza was called to the Bar of the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1973 and for the last 25 years of his practice has specialized in areas of real estate, commercial and corporate law.  He represents numerous Provincial and Federal corporations.  He is very familiar with all areas of business law and has particular expertise in matters of business negotiation, negotiation of contracts, drafting of contracts, leases and issues dealing with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario..  In addition, Mr. Piazza has expertise with regard to all aspects of corporate law, including the reorganization and restructuring of Federal and Ontario corporations.  He has established a high level of rapport at the political level and the public service level, which assists in all areas of client service.  Mr. Piazza also represents a number of clients in the land development area and has provided ongoing advice and assistance in this regard for a number of years.  A large portion of his practice is dedicated to acting for clients in real estate purchases, sales and mortgages.

 

Mr. Piazza has been involved in fundraising for many organizations for over 30 years.  Presently, he is chair of the corporate Fundraising Committee of Villa Marconi, an extended care facility.
